Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) essentially looks at the inter-relationship between our thoughts, feelings and our behaviors. Vedanta focuses on the relationship between Body, Mind (Manas in Sanskrit) and Intellect (Budhhi in Sanskrit). These three collectively known as "The Equipment" and it's relationship with the "Pure Self" (Atman in Sanskrit).
The therapy is formulated with emphasis on specific actions through hands-on exercises, practical strategies and continuous feedback mechanisms.
How it Works
1. Mapping the current state: Our assessments help in understanding your current emotional state. These assessments are widely accepted as reliable tools for measuring the psychological being of an individual.
2. Trained and professional coach speaks: We will pick and assign a trained and professional coach for you, who would speak with you, understand you better and then suggest methods and techniques for you to follow.
3. Daily regimen and exercises: You will then be required to start adopting the suggested methods in your daily life. These simple exercises, breathing techniques and meditative methods take very little time but become very effective in changing the negative thought pattern and improving the behavioral response pattern in the individual. With continuity, the regimen can have a life-long positive impact.
